I thought my dream was finally coming true this year when I received my Jury Service letter… but sadly, I wasn’t needed. Devastating.

But then, I discovered something even better: Murder Trial Tonight—an immersive theatre experience where you become part of a live courtroom drama.

Before stepping into the hall at the EICC, you can grab a drink, a snack, and strike your best “serious juror” pose in front of the court entrance. Then, it's time for the action to begin.

Each show is based on real-life cases tried in actual courtrooms. It starts with an on-screen introduction to the true-crime story before the live trial unfolds on stage. You’ll watch the prosecution and defense battle it out, cross-examine witnesses, and, just like a real juror, deliver your verdict via QR code.

Once the decision is in, you’ll see footage of the actual crime and find out the real-life verdict.

Needless to say, Murder Trial Tonight has a new superfan. With shows taking place in Edinburgh and Glasgow, I’ll be at every tour in the future...will you?
