Snooze and Stretch

As someone who is constantly a million miles an hour and struggles to sleep at night, I ran to register when I saw nap yoga find its way to West Lothian.

Flower Moon Yoga has brought monthly Bedtime Yin Yoga and Nidra sessions to Choose You - Yoga Studio and Wellness Hub to set you up for that perfect night's sleep.


You don't need to bring anything as they provide mats, blankets, pillows and even eye masks to make you feel as relaxed as possible. I'd make sure you have a jumper, some water and maybe some socks if you don't consider yourself a foot model.


Don't worry if you haven't done yoga before, I'm not exactly a flexible pretzel...as you enter, you leave your shoes and other belongings in the reception area, find a mat and follow instructions from Mandy, your yoga teacher.


After some simple stretches, you get as cosy as possible whilst Mandy takes you on a mystical journey as you drift into full relaxation and eventually return to a new tranquil reality.
