When my two lovely VIP guests joined me for a few weeks, I knew I had to rush over to The Milk at The Hillhead of Covington.

Just before you reach the farm itself, you’ll spot their charming little milk hut—open 24/7 and fully self-serve. Here’s how it works:

You grab a glass bottle from the vending machine, then head over to the milk dispensers to fill it up with either fresh milk or your choice of milkshake flavour - from nostalgic classics to fun seasonal picks.

The hut is open 24/7, accepts contactless payment, and is the perfect pitstop whether you’re local or just passing through Biggar. If you’re lucky enough to catch a sunny day (they do exist!), grab a seat at one of the picnic benches and soak in the gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside.
