Tucked just off Princes Street, the distillery is already eye catching with the beautiful copper stills in the window. Whether you're a seasoned gin connoisseur or just partial to the occasional G&T, the experience offers a fascinating look behind the scenes of one of Scotland’s most iconic spirits.

The tour kicks off with a warm welcome and a dive into the surprisingly rich history of gin. Think botanicals, prohibition tales, and Edinburgh’s role in shaping the spirit’s story. Then it’s into the still room, where you learn about the distillation process, the balance of botanicals, and how different flavours are crafted.

Finish off with the best part - the tasters and boy are they generous! You’ll get to sample a few of their award-winning gins, each with its own unique twist.

What I loved most was how personal and relaxed the whole thing felt. It wasn’t just facts and figures - it was storytelling, tasting, laughing, and walking away with a newfound appreciation for what goes into that refreshing glass of gin.

There’s also a brilliant little shop at the end, perfect for picking up a bottle of your favourite blend or a gift for a fellow gin-lover.
